As of this week, there are under 5 million toll free numbers left. 91,530 toll free numbers were activated this week bringing to total to 4,909,801 toll free numbers left in the available pool. The last SMS forcast predicts we’ll run out by May 2017.

800 Numbers really are very easy to set up. I was going to use Cavemen but they still haven’t gotten over the Geico commercials. So our dog Daisy volunteered to try it. Yeah I had to loan her my credit card but she did the rest. Read the full article to see HOW Daisy did it. (Geico never showed how the cavemen actually did it.)

So-called Statistics on Toll Free numbers

TollFreeNumber.ORG’s blog post (shown above) is called “Statistics on 1-800 Numbers”, but I think they forgot to include their statistics. Its two sentences long with absolutely no statistic in it at all! Other than 1-800 and Fortune 500, there isn’t any numeric numbers at all. I just thought this was funny and worth pointing out. I guess it’s just written for search engines not for real people.
